The nuisance caused by birds, small animals and leaves entering the chimney can be resolved by fitting a Junior Birdguard cowl.  Pictured with what is called a solid fuel 1 inch x 1 inch square mesh birdguard to reduce clogging.  This birdguard is made from aluminium and powder coated a terracotta colour, unlike most aluminium birdguards that are held together with rivets, this birdguard is assembled using 15 STAINLESS STEEL nuts and bolts to give the cowl alonger life in service.
